Plateau is an old fashion truck stop. The bathrooms have been remodeled but could use a more thorough cleaning. The restaurant is ok with decent food and service. The convenience store is loaded with all kinds of novelty items besides the standard fare. The parking lot is large though mostly unpaved.
EXCELLENT, DELICIOUS MEXICAN FOOD!!! THE CHICKEN ENCHILADAS ARE THE BOMB! DONT PASS THIS PLACE WITHOUT TRYING SOME..Take bean & cheese burritos for the road. The flour tortillas are freshly made!❤
One of the old mom and pop truck stops still left. It's looking a little bit shabby but everybody tries very hard to please you and that goes quite a ways. They do have very good breakfast burritos.
It's just a nice break from driving
The staff was friendly
But not a very large inventory. Restrooms were clean and we'll stocked with toilet paper. Not very much parking available for big trucks.
